Ariel is also known as “Arael” and “Arieael”. The name of Ariel means “the lion of God”. Archangel Ariel emerges as the supervisor of the nature in the mystical writings. Ariel’s relation to the spirit of nature was immortalized in the work of Shakespeare entitled “The Tempest” as a fairy of the nature. Ariel emerges as a sensitive, young and female archangel in one of the Sopo Archangel’s paintings in Colombia in the 1600s. This work was named “Ariel: Commander of God”.
